Jefferson County Fair & Rodeo
Jefferson County’s principle industries are agriculture, forest products, and recreation. The county produces seed, potatoes, hay, mint, dry wheat and grazing land for cattle. Madras named after a city in India, serves as home to the Jefferson County Fair. The fairgrounds are utilized year round and host over 80,000 people each year. Jefferson County is also home to Juniper Hills Park and Panorama Park which both offer fabulous views of the Cascade Mountains.
